The benefits of eating breakfast
Breakfast it is the most important meal of the day.
Why??
While you’re sleeping your metabolism slows and unless you give yourself some fuel to jumpstart that metabolism, it’ll continue to move at a snails pace. You want your metabolism to get going so you can have the energy you need to get through your day.
Breakfast also gives you a chance to get in some vitamins and nutrients from healthy foods like lean protein, wholegrain low GI options, oats, vegetables, and fruits. If you don’t eat it, you aren’t likely to get all of the nutrients your body needs.
Plus, a faster metabolism burns more energy, which is better for weight loss than one that’s slow going.
If you skip breakfast you may find it hard to focus and you’ll feel tired and lethargic.
If you make a choice that is quick and easy and not healthy, later you may get so hungry that you snack on high-fat and high sugar foods.
